During the week of Aug. 3-7, St. James’ was filled with the happy sounds of 31 campers, hearing stories about the life of Moses and learning the Ten Commandments.
Six adult volunteers and ten youth counselors led the children through stations including Bible stories, crafts, games and songs all related to the cowboy themed “SonWest” program.
To the delight of all, live alpacas made a visit to the camp from Grist Mill Farm Alpacas.
Thanks to the generous donations of the congregation, the children stuffed 11 backpacks full of school supplies. These were donated to the Lord’s Pantry, to be distributed to children in need in the Downingtown community.
Vacation Bible School was a week of learning, fun and outreach!
