Recently St. James' Church's participation in the PennDOT Adopt-A-Highway program was publicly recognized with the unveiling of a new sign on Route 30 in Downingtown. St. James’ Newest Outreach Ministry – Adopt-A-Highway
Saturday, April 8th witnessed the parish’s newest outreach ministry, the roadside clean-up of Lancaster Avenue from Wallace Avenue (PA Route 282) heading East to Quarry Road. The church has formally adopted the aforementioned two-mile stretch of roadside as part of the national Adopt-A-Highway (AAH) program.
