RAINBOW FRUIT SKEWERS

07/10/2020 by Christine Deitcher

“Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind in earth.” -Genesis 9:16

If you’re looking for a message that reminds us of God’s love, you can’t do better than a rainbow. Nothing beats looking out the window after a big storm to see the sun shining and a bright rainbow arching over the sky. Enjoy all the colors in this rainbow snack in all kinds of weather!

Ingredients:
Fruit in various colors – try to match as many rainbow colors as you can! Wooden skewers
Marshmallows

Directions:
1. Wash fruit and berries
2. Start with a marshmallow on one end for your cloud.
3. Slide fruit and berries onto wooden skewers and enjoy!

About Saint James

There are a number of Saint Jameses in the New Testament – Saint James the brother of Jesus (‘St. James the Just’), Saint James the son of Zebedee (‘St. James the Great’) and Saint James the son of Alphaeus (‘St. James the Less’). The shells that adorn the outside of the parish hall (a symbol of St. James the Great) suggest that our parish is named for this St. James.
