Lenten Bible Study – Thursday 11am

Lent is a great time of year to take stock and to think about our spiritual practices. There are many habits that we can put in place to help us walk more closely with the Lord day by day.  Our Priest in Charge – Father Richard is  leading a bible study through the most famous sermon ever delivered – Jesus’ “Sermon on the Mount”. It is a wonderful introduction to the fundamentals of Christian living. We meet at 11am on Thursdays through March 30th and you can join at any time. The study will last for an hour.

About Saint James

There are a number of Saint Jameses in the New Testament – Saint James the brother of Jesus (‘St. James the Just’), Saint James the son of Zebedee (‘St. James the Great’) and Saint James the son of Alphaeus (‘St. James the Less’). The shells that adorn the outside of the parish hall (a symbol of St. James the Great) suggest that our parish is named for this St. James.
