Let the FORCE of GOD Be With YOU

05/10/2018 by Rector

St. James’ Episcopal Church Invites you to join us for a Star Wars Themed Vacation Bible School

June 25-29th
9:00-11:30 am
For ages 4-11

Join us on a remarkable adventure where you will learn to experience the loving and peaceful force of God described in the Bible. Through a new style of spiritual practice (similar to Yoda’s ways of teaching Jedi), named YogaQi, you will be guided through short meditation exercises to quiet the mind before learning a series of postures that combine movements from Tai Chi and Yoga. A loving, trustworthy, and life changing relationship with God can be cultivated through the simple teachings provided each day. Every day of the week we will focus on a word from the Bible to help students gain a deeper understanding of God’s will for them and all of humanity. At the end of the week, participants will leave VBS knowing their relationship with God is truly in their hands and how they can help their understanding grow every day by their choices.

Cost is a non-refundable $20 per child ($40 max per family) for St. James’ Church members and $25 per child ($50 max per family) for non-members.

We are still looking for volunteers to help with crafts, bible stories, and more. Fees waived for students of parents who volunteer for the entire week.

Contact Christine Deitcher at christine_deitcher@yahoo. com to volunteer.
