03/02/2015 by Web Admin

communion-handsWe are happy to have you worshiping with us today. The altar of this parish belongs to God, and all are welcome to come forward to receive communion. To receive the bread, place one hand over the other so that the priest can place it in your palm. If you wish to receive by intiction, dip the wafer in the wine communion by intinctionas the chalice bearer brings it by. To take a sip of wine from the chalice, use your right hand to assist the chalice bearer in guiding the cup to your lips.

communion sip wineWe hope to see you often, and if you are considering a spiritual home, we hope that you will consider St. James’. Please introduce yourself to the Rector and to any of the members of the Vestry, who will be wearing special name tags. We would love to speak with you about our parish family.
