St James’ in the 2018 Downingtown Christmas Parade
St. James' participated in Downingtown's Christmas Parade again in 2018. It has become an annual tradition for our church. Children rode on the float, older youth and parents walked the route along with the float, and more parishioners watched from the front lawn of the church on E Lancaster Ave. Carolers were singing out front and the Outreach Committee handed out hot chocolate and cookies. Mary Parmer's nationally-recognized parish ministry focusing on evangelism, hospitality, and deepening relationships was offered over the Sept. 15-17 weekend in the Brandywine Deanery with St. James' hosting Mary for individuals and parishes throughout the Diocese of Pennsylvania and beyond.
